 However, he did not stop with the basic certification as a firearms instructor or a chief range safety officer. He, unlike most, decided to pursue specialized training to work with women and young adults where he earned his certification from the NRA as he Refuse To Be a Victim Instructor. Dakota also brings with him a background from his service in the military as a United States Marine along with his private training and private sector work where he learned skills beyond the normal expectation for most shooters. On top of Dakota’s vast knowledge of the firearms industry, he also has a formal education in CNC machining operations and manual machining operations with nine national certifications from the National Institute of Metalworking Skills, or NIMS for short. Dakota is also a current student at Sonoran Desert Institute or SDI. Not only is Dakota an active student but he is also an honor roll student maintaining a 4.0-grade point average. Dakota is also currently working on doing an audit of the entire firearms industry education standards where he plans to create a more universal education standard within the industry today. 

 What we plan to do at WFS is to work with the top educators and contenders in the different disciplines of our industry. By working with the heads of our industry we plan to establish new cohesive standards for education and training. To do this we will be offering consulting services where we will offer our professional opinion on topics surrounding firearms and their accessories and regulations. On top of our consulting services, we also offer expert witness testimony where we stand up for our client’s rights. We would like WFS to become the premier hub for unbiased opinions using facts when it comes to the firearms industry and the things surrounding it. We offer expert knowledge on terms and history along with scientific evidence when necessary. While we plan to do nearly anything our customer needs through our consulting services, we plan to offer Kydex holster manufacturing along with our vast online store. We want to be a one-stop shop for all shooters no matter their skill level. We want to be the ones to unite our industry rather than tear it apart by being greedy. We do work within a political scope within the industry and we hope to help simplify our industry’s hard network. In the future we plan to offer gunsmithing services along with FFL transfers however at this time we are NOT a registered FFL. We also work with small businesses and other members of our industry to help them succeed when others turn a blind eye.
